05

Sensor Compatibility

PocketCodr is a configuration solution for sensors using IO-Link . IO-Link is the first standardised IO technology worldwide (IEC 61131-9) for the communication with sensors and actuators (Source: IO-Link Consortium, www.io-link.com). While IO-Link is technically a standard regulated by the IO-Link consortium, sensor brands have significant freedom when implementing the IO-Link data structure and feature logic.

Consequently, PocketCodr may offer a different user experience and user benefit depending on the sensor brand and IO-Link version of the sensor that you wish to configure.

PocketCodr Action Widgets are compatible with a growing number of sensor brands but, at the time of writing, PocketCodr Action Widgets may not yet be functional for your product of choice.

Contrinex Smart Sensors are fully compatible with all PocketCodr Action Widgets,
